The Philippines is primarily accessed through two major international gateways: Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila and Mactan International Airport in Cebu. From Manila, travelers can connect via multiple daily flights to Tacloban City. Alternatively, Cebu offers a range of daily ferry services to various ports across Leyte, providing convenient and flexible access to the region. 

From Manila

Several daily flights operated by Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines connect Manila to Tacloban City.

From Tacloban Airport to the Resort

By Public Transport: Guests arriving at Tacloban Airport may take a jeepney or taxi to the Tacloban Bus Terminal. From there, transfer to a passenger van bound for Maasin City. Upon arrival in Maasin, board a jeepney headed to Padre Burgos. Please note that public transport options may become limited later in the day, so we recommend booking an earlier flight if you plan to use this method. The total travel time is approximately 4 to 4.5 hours.

By Private Vehicle: For a more convenient option, we can assist in arranging a private van transfer directly from the airport. The van service charges ₱5,000 for the trip to the resort, with an estimated travel time of 3.5 to 4 hours. Please note that payment is accepted in cash only and should be made directly to the driver.

From Cebu 

Travelers coming from Cebu will need to take a ferry to Leyte Island. This route is serviced by several ferry operators with multiple departures throughout the day.

OceanJet Ferry Route: Cebu to Maasin
• Departure Time: 7:00 AM daily at Pier 1
• Estimated Arrival Time: 10:00 AM
• Ticketing: Tickets are available online and can be reserved up to one month in advance. https://www.oceanjet.net
• This route is the most highly recommended option when traveling from Cebu.
• Maasin is approximately a 1-hour journey by public transportation and around 45 minutes by private transfer.

Gloria G-1 Route: Cebu to Hilongos
• Departure: 2:00 PM daily, except Tuesdays
• Estimated Time of Arrival: 6:00 PM
• Tickets available at Pier 3
• This is the second most recommended travel option from Cebu to the resort.

• Departure: 9:00 PM daily; additional 11:00 AM departures on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays

Travel from Maasin Port to the Resort

Upon arrival at Maasin Port, guests may take a tricycle to the Maasin Bus Terminal and board a jeepney bound for Padre Burgos. Estimated travel time is approximately 45 minutes by private vehicle or around 1 hour via public transportation. For added convenience, we can help arrange a private van transfer to the resort. The service is priced at ₱1,500, payable in cash directly to the driver.

Travel from Hilongos or Ormoc to the Resort

By Public Transportation

• From either Hilongos or Ormoc bus terminal, take a van to Maasin City, then transfer to a jeepney heading to Padre Burgos.
• Estimated travel time is approximately 2 hours from Hilongos and 3.5 hours from Ormoc.
By Private Transfer We can assist in organizing a private vehicle through a local van company:
• Hilongos to the Resort: ₱2,500 (approximately 1.5-hour drive)
• Ormoc to the Resort: ₱4,500 (approximately 3-hour drive) Please note: All payments must be made in cash, directly to the driver.
